Chalk Hill Studio reflects my love of nature; we live near chalk downs and often walk there with my two children who love to spot the tiny blue butterflies that still thrive there. A year or two ago I started selling handbound sketchbooks and find it increasingly hard to find unusual papers and fabrics to cover them with so I have started designing and printing my own which feature drawings and illustrations based on the flowers I photograph on my walks in the country and from my own garden. I am also working on new ranges of greeting cards and stationery; like most artists I find it hard to stay still so you can most of what you see on this site is fresh and original and constantly changing so you can always come back and find something new. And if you don't find what you want you can always ask, custom orders are welcome!

I am an artist and freelance illustrator currently living in Cambridgeshire with my partner and 2 children. I graduated in the early 90’s with a BA Hons in graphic design and illustration from the Norwich School of Art, and started selling direct from my website after the birth of my son in 2000.
